about me.
I am an urban planner and cartographer. I love working with data and spatially conveying information in meaningful and thought provoking ways. I recently completed my studies at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University with a Master of Science in Urban Planning. It was there that I found my passion for data visualization and cartography.
Over the past couple of years, I have gained invaluable experience in the field of GIS, both in academic and professional settings. Last year I worked as a student assistant to the Associate Dean of GSAPP, working on graphic visualizations of admissions data for their annual student open house publication. I also generated maps for the recent publication "Disaster Preparedness NYC."
Throughout my time at Columbia University, I was active in student activities and groups. I was the content editor for the program’s Urban Magazine and published three issues. I was also the external coordinator for PSO, the Planning Student Organization, where I worked on promotional posters and graphics. I love to travel, and on my free time I like to work on crafting projects, painting, and expressing my creativity.
